
Dr. Izel is a skilled clinician and respected academic with a longstanding commitment to mental health. She has completed her undergraduate degree in behavioural science and psychology at McGill University, Canada and obtained an MSc. and Doctorate in Clinical Psychology at UCL. Over the years, she worked across different child development research labs, private and public health services including Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children, Tavistock, Anna Freud Centre and various NHS services.

Her experience in the National Health Service, combined with her teaching at UCL Postgraduate Studies, ensures that she is at the forefront of the field, providing evidence-based care and staying up-to-date on the latest therapeutic developments.
